Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that the country’s authorities plan to start implementing the first restoration projects in the spring of 2023.
Ukraine is going to spend $4 billion on restoration, and it is planned to start the process in the coming spring. This information was shared this Thursday by the head of the government of the republic Denis Shmyhal in his Telegram.
The prime minister said that he had addressed the heads of the regional military administrations, urging them to develop projects for restoration as soon as possible. “In general, Ukraine also has the promised funds for restoration in the amount of about 150 billion hryvnias ($4 billion) ,” Shmyhal said. The politician called energy, housing, critical infrastructure, demining and business support a priority for the Ukrainian authorities.
In addition, the head of the Ukrainian Cabinet added that they plan to start implementing the first restoration projects with the onset of spring.
Earlier, the Prime Minister of Ukraine said that Kiev was counting on a multi-year assistance program from the IMF in the amount of more than $15 billion.
