Since August 1, 43 countries have received 22 million tons of food from Ukraine. These figures were announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a video posted on his Telegram channel.

He clarified that we are talking about the export grain initiative Grain from Ukraine (“grain from Ukraine”).
At the end of 2022, the Turkish authorities reported that 44% of products exported from Ukraine were sent to Europe, 29% to Asia, 15% to Turkey and 12% to African countries.
In July last year, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and the UN signed an agreement in Istanbul, which made it possible to export food from Ukrainian ports. The first ships with products went to the recipients in August.
