In the published hospitality rating of countries-2023 (Welcoming Countries Rank-2023), Tajikistan got 49th place . The rating was compiled by analysts from the Canadian company Arton Capital.
When compiling it, experts calculated how many countries a particular state accepts citizens without a visa or with a visa issued upon arrival.
Tajikistan shared its 49th place with Indonesia, El Salvador and Guatemala, the indicator of each country was 87 countries.
Among the Central Asian countries, Uzbekistan turned out to be the most hospitable, taking 25th place with an indicator equal to 139 countries. Kyrgyzstan is in 53rd place (80 countries), Kazakhstan is in 54th place (77 countries). Russia is located on the 62nd place (63 countries).
Traditionally, North Korea, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan close the rating. All of these countries have a score of 0.
The first place was shared by over 20 countries, including Tuvalu, South Sudan, Somalia, Bolivia, Angola, Maldives, Côte d’Ivoire, Cambodia, Nigeria, etc. To each of them without a visa, or having received a visa upon arrival, citizens of 198 countries of the world can enter.
Recall that in the new Passport Index, Tajikistan is even lower , taking 87th place. Tajiks themselves can visit 60 countries without visas.
