By the end of June, Air Europa resumes nonstop services to Santiago de Compostela (SCQ) with two routes from the Canary Islands. The company’s last operation to the Galician capital was on October 26, 2021.
According to data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, the company will offer 744 weekly seats between the Galician capital and the Canary Islands. Air Europa will be the fourth airline to operate in this market.
Air Europa’s Santiago de Compostela (SCQ) routes will be operated on Boeing 737-800 NG aircraft with a capacity of 186 seats in a single configuration.
Globalia’s airline continues to reestablish several domestic point-to-point services, reinforcing the connectivity of the Canary Islands with the mainland. Recently the company announced flights from Lanzarote (ACE) and Tenerife – North (TFN) to Barcelona (BCN).
Air Europa currently offers 23 destinations in Spain and is the fourth largest airline operator in the domestic market in terms of seats per kilometers offered (ASK).
